BRIGHTON: WGBH-sponsored "World War II Memories" Road Show On Friday, September 7, veterans of World War II and others who supported the war effort on the home front, gathered at the Veronica B. Smith Senior Center in Brighton for a Road Show to mark the premiere of Ken Burns' documentary "The War". There, they regaled volunteers and staff with stories and photographs that documented their experiences during that intense period in world history. HEBREW SENIORLIFE From HSL Community Education, HSL: The HSL Memories Roadshow was a real success!!!!! On both days, Sunday, June 10th and Monday, June 11th, the energy was high and the stories flowed. [...] T More than 65 individuals were interviewed, old and historic photos scanned, and still photos taken. QUINCY Over 100 people turned out to the Thomas Crane Public Library to share their photographs and stories about life in Quincy.
